Overview
Loops is an email platform aimed at software companies. It covers three jobs in one place: lifecycle workflows triggered by contact events (sign-up, activation, churn), campaigns to segments such as active customers, and transactional email sent through its API. All three share one contact list, one theme and one analytics view.
Billing is based only on subscribed contacts synced to Loops. Team seats are free, and on paid plans there is no cap on sends; transactional email became free on paid plans after previously costing $1 per 2,000 sends. Transactional recipients who never get marketing email are not counted as contacts.
The free plan covers 1,000 subscribed contacts and 4,000 sends a month with every feature, at 10 emails per second and with a small Loops footer. Paid plans start at $49 a month and scale with contact count.
It is less suited to content-heavy newsletters with large, mostly passive audiences, where contact-priced SaaS tooling costs more than creator newsletter tools.
