How we make money
The site is free to use. It is paid for in ways that never touch the order of anything.
Affiliate links
Some vendors pay a commission when someone signs up through our link. Right now 0 of the
238 tools listed have one. Their "Visit" links carry rel="sponsored" and their tool
page says so beside the button. Most tools we list, including many we pick, pay us nothing.
Advertising
The site may show display ads in marked slots. Advertisers do not choose where they appear relative to any tool and have no say in content.
Sponsored placements
We do not sell placements today. If we do, a sponsor will appear only in a separate box labelled "Sponsored", never inside a table, a pick or a comparison, and never above the fold of a tool's own competitor's page.
What money never changes
- The order of any table (A to Z by default).
- Our picks by stage and the verdicts in comparisons.
- Prices, limits, strengths and limitations, which come from the vendor's own pages.
