Overview
Mailjet sends transactional email through a REST Send API and SMTP relay, and marketing campaigns through a drag-and-drop editor with segmentation and automations. Templates are shared, so a marketer can edit the design of an email that the application triggers through the API, and MJML templates are supported.
The free plan sends 6,000 emails a month but no more than 200 a day and stores 1,000 contacts. Starter ($9, 8,000 emails) removes the daily limit. Essential ($17 at 15,000 emails) allows unlimited contacts and removes the Mailjet logo. Premium ($27 at 15,000 emails) adds automations, landing pages, advanced statistics and multi-user management, and from 100,000 emails a month it includes one dedicated IP.
Mailjet is a French company and states GDPR compliance. Prices on the site exclude VAT. Unused email credits do not roll over, and overage beyond the plan is billed per 1,000 emails.
