Overview

Brevo is a multichannel marketing platform built around email: a drag-and-drop editor, forms, automation workflows, segmentation and reporting, plus SMS, WhatsApp, chat and a basic sales CRM. Transactional email over REST API and SMTP is included on every plan, which is why many developers meet Brevo through their app's password-reset and receipt emails.

Unlike most rivals, Brevo prices paid plans by the number of emails you send each month. Each tier also caps stored contacts, but the free plan lets you keep up to 100,000 contacts and send 300 emails a day with Brevo branding.

Starter removes the logo and the daily limit but still limits automations to 2,000 unique contacts. Standard lifts that cap and adds A/B testing, advanced reporting and a landing page. Professional, from $499 a month, targets high-volume teams and adds multi-user access and more channels.

Brevo is a French company, which matters to teams that want an EU vendor for GDPR purposes.

Paid plans are sized by monthly email sends; each tier also sets a stored-contact cap (500, 1,500, 2,500, then up to 500,000 on Starter and Standard), and Brevo moves you up a tier automatically when you pass the cap. Prices for tiers above the entry level are shown only in the pricing calculator, which could not be read, so priceAt10k and most costAt values are empty. Yearly billing saves 10%. Unused monthly credits do not roll over; pay-as-you-go credits do not expire. SMS and WhatsApp credits are extra; dedicated IP is an add-on.
