Overview
Mantine is a React component library split into focused packages: @mantine/core for inputs, buttons and overlays, @mantine/hooks for state and UI hooks, @mantine/form for forms, @mantine/dates, @mantine/charts (built on Recharts), @mantine/notifications, code highlighting and more. You install only what you use.
All components are styled with CSS modules and themed through CSS variables. Your own styles can use CSS modules, any other styling solution or plain CSS, and components expose a Styles API to target inner elements. The docs no longer officially support some styling features in Create React App and recommend Vite or Next.js.
Getting started is easiest from official templates for Next.js (app and pages router), Vite and Vanilla Extract, plus community templates. The release log shows a steady cadence: v8.0 in May 2025, v9.0 on 31 March 2026, and minor releases through 9.6.0 on 1 September 2026. The companion site ui.mantine.dev offers 123 free responsive blocks such as headers, stats and authentication pages.
