§1

Overview

Aceternity UI, created by Manu Arora, is a library of animated components aimed at landing pages: hero sections, bento grids, parallax scroll, glare and canvas cards, spotlight and background effects. Components are built with React, Tailwind CSS and Motion (formerly Framer Motion), and you copy them into your project, much like shadcn/ui.

The free tier covers the component collection with documentation and examples. All-Access adds premium component blocks and Next.js templates, private Discord access and a 48-hour support turnaround. It is sold as an annual plan ($169 a year, shown as reduced from $249), a lifetime plan ($199 one time, reduced from $299) that also includes AI-ready prompts for tools like v0 and Lovable, and a $1,590 team plan.

As with Magic UI, these are presentation effects. They make marketing pages stand out quickly, but heavy animation adds client-side JavaScript, and they are not a substitute for an accessible application component library.

Pricing and plans

Free tier · no card

200+ components are free to copy and paste, with documentation and examples.

At the limit Not stated The vendor does not say what happens at the limit, or we have not found it yet.

Plan Price What you get
Free $0 Free components, docs and examples
Annual Access $169/yr Listed as reduced from $249; cancel anytime
Lifetime Access $199 one time Listed as reduced from $299; includes AI-ready prompts
Team $1,590 one time Team access (10 members per third-party listings)

Prices are shown as discounts from higher list prices ($249 and $299), so they may change. The team plan's member count was not in the pricing page text we could read; a third-party listing says 10 members. The free components are published on the site rather than under a stated open-source licence, so openSource is false.
