Stackhero runs managed open-source software on its own cloud platform deployed on bare-metal servers, so it does not depend on AWS, Azure or Google. The catalogue includes PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Redis, Valkey, ClickHouse, InfluxDB, TimescaleDB, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch and message brokers, plus apps like GitLab and Keycloak. You choose EU or US hosting when ordering and data stays there.

Pricing is a flat list per instance size. For PostgreSQL the smallest Hobby instance is €19/mo for 1 vCPU, 2 GB RAM and 10 GB SSD; Startup sizes run €59 and €99, and Enterprise sizes go from €199 to €2,399 for 72 vCPU and 384 GB RAM. Billing is hourly and stops when you delete a service. Traffic is unmetered, connections are unlimited and there are no support tiers.

Every instance is a dedicated virtual machine with local disks. Backups are atomic snapshots taken daily and kept on a sliding schedule up to three months in a vault at least 200 km away, and restores are free. There is no SSH access; configuration, resizing and upgrades are done from the dashboard. Support runs during Central European office hours with 24/7 automated monitoring and an on-call engineer.
