Overview
Lettermint is a transactional email provider based in the Netherlands. It runs on infrastructure and IP ranges it owns in the EU (AS213427) rather than on a US hyperscaler, publishes its DPA and subprocessor list, and holds ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification. As a Dutch B.V. with no US parent, it positions itself outside the reach of the US CLOUD Act.
You send through a REST API, SMTP relay, SDKs for PHP, Laravel and Node.js, a CLI or an MCP server. Transactional and broadcast (marketing) email run on separate IP pools, and inbound email is available from the Starter plan.
The free plan sends 300 emails a month and can be used in production. Paid plans come in three tiers at each volume: Starter (from €10 for 10,000 emails, 5 domains), Growth (from €13, 30 domains and scheduled sending) and Pro (from €15, unlimited domains, custom tracking domains, spam insights and a dedicated IP add-on from 300,000 emails). At 50,000 emails Starter costs €40 and at 500,000 it costs €270.
Spend limits let you cap a month's bill so sending pauses rather than running up overage. Data retention is 28 days on every plan.
