Overview

Kinde is a hosted platform that bundles authentication with the pieces a SaaS product usually adds next: organizations for B2B tenancy, roles and permissions, feature flags, M2M applications and API keys, and subscription billing. SDKs cover more than 20 languages and frameworks, and you can customise login pages with HTML/CSS or React.

The free plan is broad for a no-card tier: 10,500 monthly active users, MFA, a custom domain, one enterprise SSO connection, workflows and two environments. Limits bite on roles (two custom roles), webhooks (one) and organizations (five active).

Pro is $25 a month and removes those caps and the Kinde branding, then charges $0.0175 per extra MAU and $0.50 per extra active organization. Plus at $75 a month gives unlimited enterprise SSO at no extra cost, which is unusual, and Scale at $250 adds more environments and ISO 27001 reports. If you use Kinde's billing, it takes a 0.5% to 0.7% transaction fee but stops counting paying users as MAU.
