Overview

DNS Made Easy was one of the long-standing managed DNS providers for small and mid-size businesses. After DigiCert bought it, the product is sold as DigiCert DNS, alongside UltraDNS (acquired via Vercara) for enterprise workloads. The old dnsmadeeasy.com pricing page now shows DigiCert's plans.

The Essentials plan costs $300 for a 12-month subscription and includes 10 million queries a month, 20+ domains, 6,000+ records, two users, anycast resolution, Global Traffic Director for location-based routing and a 100% uptime SLA. Extra queries cost $5 per million. There is no monthly billing option and no free tier.

UltraDNS (Premium) is quoted per customer and adds a DDoS-protected anycast network, dual DNS redundancy, DNSSEC, geo and ASN routing, multi-cloud traffic steering, SSO with role-based access, real-time logging and 24x7x365 support.

If you already have a legacy DNS Made Easy account, check your plan terms, since new customers now see only the Essentials and UltraDNS options. Add-ons such as extra query blocks, additional domains, more monitoring and query-log events are purchased from the account dashboard.

The pricing page shows Essentials as '$0 / month' with a 12-month subscription of $300, so it is billed annually. Query overage is $5 per million a month. Add-ons such as extra domains, monitoring and query logs are sold separately. digicert.com blocked automated reading; figures come from dnsmadeeasy.com/pricing, which now shows DigiCert's plans. Constellix, another DigiCert DNS brand, has no readable public pricing and is not covered here.
