Overview
Deno Deploy is the hosting platform from the team behind the Deno runtime. It builds JavaScript and TypeScript projects from GitHub (Next.js, Astro, SvelteKit, Nuxt, Remix, Fresh, Hono and more) and runs them in V8 isolates, which start faster than Lambda-style functions or VMs. Deno's Node and npm compatibility means most existing packages work.
The new Deno Deploy adds features beyond the original edge functions: preview URLs per pull request with an isolated clone of your production database, linked or provisioned Postgres and Prisma databases alongside Deno KV, cron jobs defined in code, tunnels that connect local development to production telemetry, and OpenTelemetry logs, traces and metrics out of the box. A self-hosted variant, deployd, can run on your own AWS or GCP.
The Free plan includes 1 million requests, 20 GB of egress and 15 CPU-hours a month. Pro at $20 raises that to 5 million requests, 200 GB and 40 CPU-hours with pay-as-you-go overage, and Builder at $200 targets platforms that host customer code through Subhosting. SLAs and compliance documents are Enterprise-only.
